Back To School

September is here. It is the first day of school. I am a little nervous, but also happy. I want to see my friends and my teachers.
I get up at 7 o'clock in the morning. I put on my new school uniform. It is a white shirt and dark trousers. I have a big schoolbag. I put my textbooks, my notebook and my pencil case in my schoolbag. My mum gives me a sandwich and an apple for lunch.
I walk to school with my neighbour. His name is Max. We are in the same class.
At school, we have a lot of lessons. We have Maths first. It is difficult for me. The teacher writes numbers on the blackboard. I listen and write in my notebook. After Maths, we have History. We learn about Russia. It is very interesting. My favourite subject is Art. We draw pictures and use paints. I like it a lot.
At break time, I eat my sandwich in the canteen and talk to Max. We play football in the playground.
In the afternoon, we have English. We learn new words and read texts. The teacher asks us questions. We answer them.
School finishes at 3 o'clock. I go home. I am tired but happy. I have homework, but first I want to relax and watch TV.
Tomorrow is a new day at school!
